Personalized Notepads

December 27, 2009

My mother-in-law decided she wanted to send out some cute personalized notepads as neighbor gifts for Christmas this year.  So she asked me if I would design something for her.  I think it is such a cute idea.  Who wouldn’t love a cute notepad with their name on it?

I sell these cute notepads for $13.00.  They are perfect for gift giving or keeping for yourself. Big enough for jotting down notes, a grocery list, to do list, reminders, or writing a special message. It has a gum-bound edge and a chipboard backing. Comes shrink wrapped for protection.

2010 Picture Calendar

December 27, 2009

I was asked to create a calendar using pictures my client had taken throughout the year. After I finished it, I loved it so much I thought I would make one for myself. Of course, all of the pictures in my calendar were taken by my talented husband Travis. They are printed on pearlescent 8.5 x 11 sheets of coverstock. If you are interested in your own calendar, please contact me. I sell these larger calendars for $30. They come will a hole drilled at the top for easy hanging, but can also be spiral-bound for a very small fee.

Christmas Cards

December 23, 2009

Here are a few examples of the Christmas cards I was asked to design this year. The pictures were taken by my husband Travis. He does such a good job. I am absolutely in love with that picture of Max. If you want to see a few of the other pictures Trav took of him, click here. Not only do I LOVE designing cards for families, but designing custom cards for businesses is quite fun, too.

2010 Calendar

December 23, 2009

So, I know I’m a bit late, but here are my calendars for 2010. I love these! I, with the help of my husband (ok, it was all his idea), decided to give my calendars out as our Christmas neighbor gifts. And I’m so glad we did. We skipped the long hours of baking in the kitchen, and spent a few minutes wrapping. Which I love. I love trying to make things look cute. And I think I accomplished that. What do you think?

Santa

December 14, 2009

So, I went to my friends house for a ‘girls night out’ dinner, and hanging on her wall was this beautiful painting she did of Santa.  I loved it so much.  I just had to make one for myself.  So I did.  Thank you, Lauren, for the wonderful idea.  I absolutely love my Santa painting!  And so do my kids!!

I saw this picture of Santa on a sign my friend had in her kitchen.  So I took a picture of it with my phone.  Then I drew it onto the canvas and painted it with a silvery-ish gray color.  Then painted rubber cement on top of the gray, and put glitter all over it.  Then, of course, had to add snowflakes.  Isn’t it great?!   My house feels totally Christmasy now!!
